• discuss的基本意思是“談論”,多指非正式地、友好地探討或研究,尤指從正反兩方麪加以考慮,以交換內容或澄清問題。
• discuss有時也可作“(心中)琢磨”解。
• discuss多用作及物動詞,可接名詞、代詞、帶疑問詞的動詞不定式、動名詞或wh-從句作賓語。偶爾也可用作不及物動詞。
• discuss的現在進行時可表示按計劃、安排或打算將要進行的動作,此時一般須與表示將來的時間狀語連用或有特定的上下文。
• discuss屬於及物動詞，後可直接加賓語，其後無須加about。衹有在名詞discussion後才需加上about去表示討論的內容；
• discuss作動詞時，後麪不可以直接加動詞不定式。We discussed to set a new room. 這個表示方式是錯誤的。
