travel的基本意思是“行走,行驶”,引申可指“旅行,旅游”,指某人到各个不同的地方所进行的多次旅行,尤指一段较长时间的出国旅行。travel泛指旅行时,用作不可数名词,不加不定冠词; 如果指一次较长时间、且去过多处地方的旅游时,常用复数形式travels。
